Z Property Group, the property holding company for Z Property Development, has purchased a site for redevelopment on Belfast’s bustling Dublin Road.
The site houses two former restaurants which have lain dormant for several years. The buildings have since fallen into a state of dereliction, creating an eye sore on one of Belfast’s most vibrant city centre stretches.
The site has been granted planning permission by Belfast City Council for 85 residential units. Z Property aim to transform the site into a state-of-the-art building featuring 85 living spaces and a commercial unit on the ground floor. This represents a £14m investment in Belfast City Centre.
“From our first site in Newbuildings in the Northwest, I’m proud to lead Z Property Group in making significant impact across the country with our second site in Belfast,” said Managing Director, Scott Kennedy.
“Z Property aim to build on the success of our existing projects and bring the quality standards we insist upon into this new and exciting city centre project. This project will further enliven the Dublin Road and act as a catalyst for further developments in the area.”
Demolition work begins this month and construction is set to last 18 months, commencing January 2023.
